From tablets to smart phones, we are now able to gather information anywhere and anytime with the click of

a button. For those in the market for a new car, technology has not only helped us do our research, but has allowed us to become discerning shoppers, with a better understanding about about financing options, what factors determine APR, tips on negotiating, etc.

DID YOU KNOW:

According to a survey commissioned by Capital one Auto Finance:

  • Ninety-two percent of consumers rank pre-dealership research as more important than the test-drive at the dealership itself. Yet, 43% know it is still a necessary part of the process to walk into a dealership.
  • 84% rank negotiation and finance as the most time-consuming element in the process.
  • Twenty-nine percent ranked shopping for a car as the purchase they look forward to the least, just a few percentages behind buying a home.
  • Only 20% are confident when shopping for a car.

On Wednesday, March 20, Automotive Expert, Nik Miles will be available for interview to discuss how technology can alleviate the stressors of researching and purchasing a new car, and some of his personal buying tips. He will show how innovative tools like Capital One’s Auto Navigator let consumers find their perfect car from millions nationwide and pre-qualify for financing before ever heading to a dealer
