DID YOU KNOW?

  • Cheese is a great way to turn recipes that are normally sweet into something new and interesting!  Amy will show off recipes like Savory Cheddar Oats, Cheesy Bacon Buttermilk Waffles & Spiced Monterey Jack Bread Pudding.
  • Need an easy swap? Switch out a stock- or wine-based braise with milk. Italian cooking has used this trick for centuries. The proteins in milk help tenderize meat and milk adds sweetness and flavor.
  • Doing a lot of baking suddenly? Try baking with yogurt!  Plain yogurt adds tons of dimension to all kinds of baked goods by adding moisture and tenderness. It’s acidity, combined with baking soda, helps make your baked goods light and fluffy
  • Not getting as much Vitamin D these days? Milk can provide 15% of your daily value and helps build and maintain strong bones and teeth.
