The testimony of Jesus Christ is the Spirit of prophecy. (Revelation 19:10)
My mother was always involved in the Church. When I was 2 years old she suffered 3rd degree burns over 90 percent of her body. God kept her alive and today she lives in a nursing home in Southern California. As I was growing up she became interested in prophecy and started teaching it in small home study groups. At the time I wasn’t interested. However the Lord chose to bring a prophecy to my attention one day, and the prophecy was being fulfilled on the very day that I found it. I truly feel that it was the work of the Holy Spirit.
On August 18, 2005 Israel was abandoning Gaza and turning it over to the Palestinians. A friend and co-worker had asked me why this was happening, since God had given them that land in Genesis 15:18. The Holy Spirit led me to Zephaniah Chapter 2:4 which states that; “Gaza will be abandoned”. Why were the Jews abandoning Gaza? Because God said they would!
This was no accident. there is no way that I could have found those 4 little words on my own and they were the answer to a direct question. This led me on an intensive quest to study and understand prophecy. Through this experience and the help of my mother’s extensive library, studying the Scriptures and the works of experts like Chuck Missler, Chuck Smith, Joel Rosenberg, Dave Hunt, John Walvoord, John Hagee, Hal Lindsey, J. Vernon Mcgee, Dave Salus and many others I have written this book on what I have learned about God’s plans for the future of mankind.
I attend a great Lutheran Church in Southern California and, though I disagree with their eschatology, I have served as Chairman of our Deacon Committee, have completed two years of seminary level training, am on our Prayer Team and teach Bible study classes.
I truly feel that the Holy Spirit has guided me through this journey. It is just like God to use someone like me, the least of his servants to hopefully help him further his kingdom and help others understand his intentions for the future of all mankind.
May God also use you to glorify and honor him through the gifts with which he has blessed you.
