THIS SPRING, BREAK OUT THE
‘DIGITAL DUSTPAN’

SPRING CLEANING FOR YOUR PHYSICAL AND DIGITAL SPACE

Mary Ku

Facebook Product Director

Decluttering the home is one of the annual rites of spring. From cleaning behind the refrigerator to organizing our closets, spring provides the perfect backdrop to get our homes in order. As we take inventory of what we have in our physical homes, it’s also a good time to organize our digital life.

On March 29th, Facebook’s Mary Ku will talk to viewers about how we can look online to get the most out of our spring cleaning efforts.  She’ll discuss how Facebook’s Marketplace can be a great solution for selling items as you’re in spring cleaning mode and touch on ways to clean up your virtual ‘homes.’

SOME OF HER TIPS INCLUDE:

·        Need to sell off those unused items? Marketplace allows millions of people to discover, browse, buy and sell items with one another locally via Facebook. Marketplace offers a vast inventory with easy-to-find and relevant products in your neighborhood and an ultra-convenient interface

·       Scroll through your friends list and be sure that you are still in touch with and want to share with the people on your list. It’s also a good time to organize your feed and prioritize the people, pages and brands that you want to see on your News Feed.

·       Organizing your home and don’t know where to start? Go online to tidy up offline!
