Co-Founders of The MOMS Multimedia Co.

Dealing with the everyday challenges of fighting breast cancer and finding the strength within to continue the fight is no easy feat. Survey results indicate that maintaining their daily routines while going through treatment is a top concern of those battling breast cancer – second only to life expectancy. Activities patients say they need the most logistical help with include completing household chores, running errands and preparing balanced, healthful meals. As a result of this, the Warriors in Pink More Good Days initiative is launching new support services to offer solutions to patients’ most pressing household needs through 2016 collaborations with Green Chef and Cleaning for a Reason.

As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Denise Albert and Melissa Musen Gerstein, co-founders of The MOMS Multimedia Company, will help raise awareness about how to bring More Good Days to those living with breast cancer. On Thursday, September 29th, Denise and Melissa will be available for live interviews to discuss how Warriors in Pink will be expanding the support services available through More Good Days to respond to the needs of those undergoing treatment. Denise, currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer, alongside her friend and business partner, Melissa, can offer insights from first-hand experience.

SOME OF THESE SERVICES WILL INCLUDE:

·         Collaborating with Green Chef to provide free organic meal kits to patients and helping eliminate the hassle of grocery shopping and meal planning.

·         Working with the nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason to provide free assistance with household chores.

·         Partnering with Meal Train – an online platform for organizing family and friends to provide meal deliveries, errand services, childcare, rides and more.

·         Offering free Jacki® recovery garments to those who have recently undergone mastectomy surgery.
